I had a great time doing my first bake sale table on Sunday. I met a few people with Celiac, handed out some cards, and sold the majority of my stuff to people who didn't need to eat gluten-free things, but did anyway. I spent all of Saturday baking.
Then I got up early on Sunday and baked some muffins, panicking that I didn't have enough stuff. I sold out of my brownies early, sold a few banana breads (I had a bunch leftover) and a lot of cookies and cupcakes. It was a lot of fun. This week I'm going to go talk to some coffee shops to see if they're interested in selling some of my stuff. I'm also going to set up my Etsy store site and see if that does me any good. Let me know if you have any suggestions!
In other news, I'm making the switch over to www.heythattastesgood.com so I don't have to ask people to type in the whole name with blogspot at the end because that's so hard to remember.
Wow! Thats impressive! I've been thinking about doing a Farmers market stall, but so far havent got there yet!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Everything looks great in the pictures. And good luck with the coffee shops.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! I'm in the midst of my baking to bring around to coffee shops, I'll post how it went later!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your succcess in selling. There's such a market for this in Denver. I might have to reach out to you and pick your brain on how you do this (and how you find time!)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and good luck with the coffee shops. I hope that it works out.
